Jarin Beck has been a family law litigation attorney with Beck Law P.C. since 2011. His practice is centered on representing individuals in complex family law matters, particularly those involving high conflict custody disputes, business valuation and apportionment matters, and income available for support. Jarin’s experience encompasses all facets of litigation from the initial filing through settlement, mediation, trial and appellate work.
As an attorney with a deep understanding of family dynamics and emotions, Jarin helps individuals navigate the multifaceted (and often confusing) world of family law litigation. Using a client centric approach Jarin regularly helps his clients negotiate disputes and secure successful settlements. However, if settlement appears to be unavailing, Jarin knows how to take a well prepared case to trial – a valuable skill to have in your corner.
Jarin serves as a Settlement Conference Panelist for the Sonoma County Superior Court, Family Law division, and is also a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association’s Mental Health Liaison Committee. This committee facilitates trainings and works to improve communications between mental health professionals that work with families in crisis by bringing together the family law judicial officers, court-involved therapists, and family law attorneys. As part of said committee, Jarin co-chaired an ad-hoc committee and established local forms that parties can use to assist the judicial officers, court-involved therapist and Family Court Services (FCS) in identifying resist and refuse (alienation) cases.
Jarin also serves on the Family Law Steering committee and recently participated in the national renewed trial practice program of the National Family Law Trial Institute (Houston).
Jarin also has experience handling civil litigation matters, including personal injury and employment law matters.
Prior to practicing law, Jarin was an Assistant Golf Professional at Santa Rosa Golf and Country club where he taught golf and competed in professional golf tournaments. When not representing clients, Jarin enjoys spending time with his two young children or sneaking in a round of golf with friends.
